Becky, David, Andrew + Emily [St. Louis Family Photographer]

Last week was a whirlwind filled with so many great things, but most of all, filled with SO MANY GREAT PEOPLE! My camera has allowed me to reconnect with old friends and meet so many new ones along the way and it just fills my heart!

Becky is one of those old friends. She and her family are originally from St. Louis, but recently moved to Arizona. It was so good to have them back in St. Louis for a few days and I was honored to capture their family. Wouldn't you know that the first day we were supposed to shoot we woke up to 3 inches of snow...in mid-March! Such is the weather in the Midwest!

Thanks again Becky, David, Andrew + Emily! I had so much fun and it was great to catch up with such a wonderful family! You all inspire me to live my best life!

Andrew is a natural in front of the camera!

Sneak Peek: Miss Makenzie's Newborn Session [St. Louis Children's Photographer]

I had a great day today visiting with Makenzie as she was adjusting well at home! She's such a sweet baby and easy on her mama which is ever-so-nice for Erin! We took a few newborn shots at the house today and here's just a little sneak peek! I think she likes being in front of the camera don't you?!

Introducing my "Kissing Blossoms" as well which I'm pretty excited about.

Introducing Makenzie! [St. Louis Children's Photographer]

Tiny moments in this great big world. A hug shared between mother and son; hands clasped together as a family walks in a park; a kiss between lovers; giggles between brothers and sisters; and tiny little miracles brought into this world. That's what I was thinking when I was spending an afternoon with Makenzie and her mom, Erin, just after she was born. I get to capture some of the greatest moments in this world and how could I get so lucky?

It's so exciting to get to experience new life and to know that I can't wait to capture Makenzie as she grows!

Erin, Kenny, Evan, Ian + Zac--thank you for letting me share in your special day and I can't wait for the next family photo...because it just got that much better for you all!

A special moment with Great-Grandma makes my heart smile.

Sneak Peek: Introducing Makenzie Eleanor [St. Louis Children's Photographer]

You know when you realize that moment in life when you figure out what you're really supposed to be doing? Yes...I had one of those days and am so grateful for the path that has led me to these days.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Miss Makenzie Eleanor today just a short 4-hours old! 10 fingers...10 toes and PERFECT! 8 lbs. 15 oz. and 21.5" long!

Watch out world! This girl as three older brothers that can't wait to get her home!

There's plenty more of Makenzie to come in the next few weeks! A huge thank you to Erin + Kenny for letting me capture a few special moments in the hospital today!

And did I mention headbands and flowers are a favorite of mine! Erin + I have big plans for this little one's photography career!

The After-Party [St. Louis Photographer]

I'm calling this mini-shoot "The After-Party". After the birthday party extravaganza for the triplets, I snagged a few couples and headed out to enjoy the beautiful backgrounds we had available to us!

You're Loved More Than You Will Ever Know [St. Louis Children's Photographer]

To say the least, these three beauties have come a long way. I remember when I first received the phone call that all three were here, doing well and mom was too! I remember taking a sweet moment, stopping and thanking God for miracles like Logan, Clara + Nora to remind us of what life is really about.

And last Saturday, I stole a moment to do the exact same thing that I had done on the day of their birth. I stopped, took a moment and thanked God for all of the people gathered one year later to celebrate the life of these three, healthy and happy siblings. They say it takes a village...but now I'm certain, it takes devoted parents like Rob + Sarah and an extended family like those pictured below.

Happy birthday Logan, Clara + Nora. Proof is in the pictures below...you're loved more than you can ever know. You truly are life captured at it's best.
