Chantelle, Joey & Crew [St. Louis Family Photographer]

I just love it when I get to work with families. I love everything about it...seeing how they interact, the way they talk to one another and what makes them laugh! It reminds me so much of my wonderful family.

This family was full of laughter and ready to have a great time! Combine that with their bright colors and great smiles, and you have quite the recipe for a wonderful evening.

Had a bad case of the giggles! In large part thanks to my handy tickle-helper!

I love this one...I asked the girls to help me get grandma and grandpa to smile! That's all it took and boy did I get some good smiles after they were done!

Sneak Peek: Ian, Zac & Evan [St. Louis Children's Photographer]

I shot these cuties way back when...well...only last February. But look at how much they've grown! Still super cute! And this time I also got a chance to take a few of big brother Evan!

Zac was so smiley today! He'll be on the move soon to catch up with his brothers!


And Evan...someday he's gonna break some hearts! But until then, he's one of the best big brothers I've seen!

What a great night it ended up being! We were so worried that the rain was going to prevent us from enjoying the park but we sure lucked out and it ended up being such a perfect evening for family pictures.

And a perfect family for a perfect evening! This family was full of laughs and energy and couldn't get enough of the camera which matches my personal philosophy...well...perfectly!

Three Peas in a Pod: Logan, Clara + Nora [St. Louis Children's Photographer]

These three are growing so fast! We took a quick moment last weekend to grab some pictures before they grew again and boy did we luck out! Great weather and plenty of smiles to go around!

Thanks so much Sarah and Rob for the extra hands and for letting me capture these three blessings! It brings such joy to my heart to see them thriving!

Getting all three to look at you and smile...well...we're getting better at it! But it certainly can be a challenge and had us laughing hysterically!


I told you we called him Mr. Smiley...he just kept smiling!


Logan is leading the pack in weight...his feet are twice the size of the girls'!

Clara was not shy either! Lots of smiles and even some funny faces!

Nora was a little more preoccupied with mom and dad making faces--I don't think she really thought they were that funny, just weird!




I captured these two moments as daddy was lifting her into the air and she was totally enjoying herself!

Megan + Dave: Part 2 [St. Louis Photographer]

More from my fun evening with Megan and Dave! Who wants to a shoot in Alton?!

Our next stop on this lovely evening--tracks! Railroad tracks! I've always wanted to capture an image like this and Megan and Dave were more than happy to oblige!


I heart this one so much!




Then it was on to the old Grand Theater.

Megan + Dave: Part 1 [St. Louis Photographer]

I'm so excited to finally get to post these pictures! I was able to carve some time into the long weekend to wrap this session up.

Megan asked me a while back if I'd be interested in doing a shoot for them to help commemorate their first anniversary! And the fun part about that, is Megan and Dave were married on the exact same day as Josh and I last year!

So I headed over to Alton on one of the coolest summer nights we'd had yet and boy did we get lucky! The weather was great and the light was amazing. And Megan and Dave were so fun to hang out with! I'll be splitting this session into two parts since there were so many great pictures! So on with part 1!

Wasn't sure how this shot would turn out by Dave rocked it!










The other thing Megan and Dave share with Josh and I is a fierce rivalry in the house. That's right...one's a Mizzou fan and the other an Illinois fan. I have to say that I side with Dave on this one!
