I Heart Faces--Smiles Photo Challenge!

I've got a good one this week for the I Heart Faces photo challenge which is smiles. It's so hard to choose with so many recent photos that I'm loving! But I think Miss Maddie will have to do.

Love is in the Air: AJ + Amanda

I had the best time yesterday despite the stormy weather. We had liquid sunshine on a day like yesterday--when AJ proposed to Amanda. I promised a sneak peek and here it is.

Carpenter by Day, Buried in My Yard By Night

Meet my new BFF--and wouldn't you know he came in a 3" x 4" box! That's right...we're trying to sell the house and we could use some help of the higher power! So St. Joseph came for a little stay at our household. And why not....he was a carpenter, a home owner and a good and decent man. So why not!

After much research, I discovered there are many ways to bury the little guy--upside down facing the west in your backyard, facing forward to the north and so on and so on. So...I made a choice--upside down, in the front, facing away from the house. We'll see if he works. I figured it can never hurt to have a little more prayer and God in your life.

Love that it's a starter kit! Everything you need in a box...which makes me giggle.

More to come on our house saga. And if anyone else out there feels like throwing up a few extra prayer for us to sell quickly to the big guy--we sure would appreciate it! Or...maybe just some prayers for patience=)!

We Are a Proud People

There are many reasons this photo makes my heart beam with pride!

1. Josh took this photo--he's getting good!
2. My mom made all of these shirts for us! Including little Miss Emma's as well which had a little fanny-flare!
3. I'm sitting on this couch with two of the most beautiful women in my life and two of the sweetest little things that God has ever made.

We are a proud people. And this is where I come from...and I am so proud of this photo because of all of these things and more!

Photo Class

I finally found a class I wanted to take! It's called Simply Portraits and so far I'm loving it. Last week we had our first model--Katie. Below are the shots I got with her. Great lighting set up and she was very fun to work with.
